The balloon flight takes place in the Poprad and Veľká Lomnica area, with views of the High Tatras. We most often depart from either AquaCity Poprad or Golf Veľká Lomnica. The exact launch site is always determined according to the current wind direction and is specified to customers the evening before the flight via SMS or email.

After purchasing the flight, passengers automatically receive all necessary information and instructions by email. We recommend reading them carefully. More information is also available on our website.

Passengers are responsible for making their own way to the meeting point, although they may also ask their accommodation provider for assistance with transport.

Flights take place early in the morning, usually around 6:00 a.m., with the meeting time set for approximately 5:30 a.m., as this is when flying conditions are at their best. The flight itself lasts approximately 60 minutes, while the entire experience, including preparation, the flight itself, return transport, and breakfast, takes around 3 hours.

The balloon travels with the wind, while the pilot controls only the altitude. The flight is calm, quiet, and stable, without any sensation of dizziness.

We recommend dressing as you would for hiking – sturdy footwear and comfortable clothing are essential. It is usually not significantly colder during the flight than it is on the ground.

The safe operation of each flight is ensured by certified pilots holding valid European (EASA) licences. Pilots regularly undergo training and medical examinations, and the crew is also able to communicate in English.

Flights take place only under suitable weather conditions. In the event of unfavourable weather, the flight is rescheduled to the nearest suitable date. If the alternative date does not suit the customer, they may request a refund through the customer zone on our website.

After landing, a traditional toast and the presentation of a commemorative certificate follow. Passengers are then transported back to the meeting point. Breakfast in buffet form at a hotel is also included in the experience.

A balloon flight is suitable for both adults and children. The minimum age is 6 years. Whenever possible, we also do our best to accommodate individual requests.

The flight route does not pass directly over the High Tatras; the balloon flies within the Poprad – Veľká Lomnica area.
