Carriage Museum Veľká Lomnica

The Pavel Baláž Carriage Museum in Veľká Lomnica is unique of its kind in the wider area. It offers a tour of about 30 different historical carriages, sleighs and a lot of hippological material. You also have a unique opportunity to see a historic breed of horses with up to about 500 years of age – Lipizzaners with the possibility of ordering a horse-drawn carriage ride.

You can get acquainted with each carriage of the collection in an engaging interview and see the handmade production of carriage harnesses on request. These activities are interconnected, so the owner also calls it the term “living museum”.
