Tatranská Magistrála cross-over from Chata pri Zelenom plese through a saddle Veľká Svišťovka, along a tarn Skalnaté pleso up to a chalet Zamkovského chata. In the section Chata pri Zelenom plese – Veľka Svišťovka, the hike is more difficult with partially exposed terrain secured by chains. It’s more beautiful to do the hike in the opposite direction because we would not only have breathtaking views of the tarn Zelené pleso but also tarns Trojrohé and Veľké Biele pleso and Belianske Tatras. In our case, we start the hike at the chalet Chata priZelenom plese, we continue along the greatest Tatra mountain wall of Kežmarský štít. We pass along a „black“ tarn Čierne pleso and follow a rocky trail with steep hairpin bends that leads through stone rubble and exposed parts secured by chains. We slowly reach the saddleback Veľká Svišťovka 2038m. – 1:35h ( ). From here we continue on a comfortable trail to Skalnaté pleso, from where we can take a cable car to a peak Lomnický štít or a chairlift to a saddleback Lomnické sedlo and from there take a short walk to Veľká Lomnická veža 0:15 h. with wonderful views. The trail from Skalnaté Pleso to Lomnické sedlo is closed, so you have to use a chairlift. At Skalnaté Pleso we have the possibility of refreshment and rest, or we also use do so at a chalet Skalnatá chata, which is only a few minutes away from here in the direction of a chalet Zamkovského chata. It takes only additional 0:50h to get to another mountain chalet, aforementioned Zamkovského chata. We can either sleep there and continue the next day or continue conquering the Tatranská Magistrála. Nearby the chalet, there are beautiful waterfalls –Vodopády Studeného potoka.
