The Swiss House is one of the oldest buildings in the High Tatras and its history dates back to 1856. It is located in Starý Smokovec at the foot of Slavkovský štít and offers guests a beautiful view of the Tatra peaks. The attractive location of the Swiss House is ideal for an active stay in the smallest mountains in the world. In its vicinity, there is not only a funicular station, but also a path leading to Hrebienok, from where you can go for a walk, day trip or climbing.

At present, the Swiss House houses a porter’s museum, a café, a children’s corner and two apartments with their own kitchens. One has a separate bathroom with a shower. The bathroom for the second apartment is located in the hallway, but in its immediate vicinity. This bathroom is shared with other rooms for multiple guests. If you are looking for affordable accommodation in comfortable, clean and simply furnished rooms, you are right here. We offer accommodation in 2-, 3- and 5-bed rooms with access to the porch. In total we have 10 beds and 2 extra beds. You can book either the whole apartment or just a room with a certain number of beds. There is free access to WIFI in the whole building. There are 2 parking spaces in front of the building for guests.
