Chata pod Rysmi is the highest situated (2250 m) and the youngest Tatra chalet. Chalet currently provides not only meals but also accommodation in a dormitory in the roof superstructure, if necessary in the dining room on the floor. It is an excellent starting point for mountaineering activities in Bielovodská dolina (Ťažká dolina, Galéria Ganku, Rysy…), but also in the upper parts of Mengusovská dolina and Zlomiská. Around the chalet leads a hiking trail to Rysy, further with the crossing to Morskie oko. It is open only in the summer season (from June 15th to October 31st).
