Ascent to Koprovsky stit from Strbske Pleso

Very beautiful and interesting all-day hike. We start from Strbske pleso along ( ) trails until we reach the junction of Trigan where we’ll decide if we want to continue along the red trail with beautiful views of Popradske pleso or to go along the green trail (during winter season this is the winter trail) through the forest. We carry on up a forest path 0,30 h ( ) from Popradske tarn through Mengusovska valley and all the way to the trail junction of Rázcestie nad Žabím potokom. We start climbing up the steep stony path in the direction of Hincovo pleso until we reach Hincove oká and in a few minutes we let us be enchanted by the gorgeous Veľké Hincovo pleso. The trail then continues with steep but not overly long ascent to the saddleback Vyšné Kôprovské sedlo. Along the way we can also admire the smaller tarn Malé Hincovo pleso. First walking the stone rubble and then stone blocks it takes only 25 minutes ( ) to reach the summit Kôprovský štít from the saddleback.
