Led by chef Martin Kurhajc, the Al Lago restaurant serves traditional Mediterranean cuisine with a selection of Slovak specialties. The emphasis is mainly on fresh and original ingredients and therefore the dishes retain the correct original taste. The pizza is made from Italian Caputo flour, steaks are prepared from aged Argentinian sirloin and Demikát soup (soup out of traditional Slovak cheese bryndza) thickened by water that dumplings cooked in. Artificial flavorings and flours for thickening are not used in the preparation of meals. For vegetarians, a wide selection of dishes is available, as well as gluten-free pasta and pizza for celiacs. The quality of the restaurant was also evaluated by the TREND TOP Restaurants and Hotels in Slovakia project.
You can also enrich your gastronomic experience by choosing quality wines and drinks. A part of the restaurant is also a children’s corner, which with its connection with the restaurant offers parents the possibility of peaceful meals in the company of children. For evening sitting, there is a lounge with a selection of cognacs and cigars in pleasant armchairs. The summer terrace offers the opportunity to relax with a good drink or meal in the open air and with fresh air.
