ŠTRBSKÉ PLESO 1350 m a.s.l.

The most remarkable Tatran winter sport resort and mecca for nordic skiing. The internationally recognised FIS sports complex, where the 1970 World Championships in nordic skiing were held, is the setting every year for a round of the World Cup or other important sports events.

PARK SNOW Štrbské Pleso offers maximum transport comfort to skiers – there is a modern Poma Phoenix 4 seater chairlift with detachable chairs that can transport up to 1,600 persons / hour. Skiers can be up on the Solisko slopes within 7 minutes. This years sees a new 6 seater chairlift on Solisko that can carry 1,200 persons / hour. Together with the 3 seater chairlift and other ski-lifts it means that up to 5,900 persons / hour can be shuttled up to the slopes. The Poma H 130 ski-lift on the left side of Interski takes skiers right up to Solisko where they can choose whether to go on the lower section of Soliska –Esíčko or cross Spojku back down to Interski. There is a new downhill run called FURKOTA which even recereational skiers should manage without any real problems.

There are excellent skiing conditions ready for you whether it be slalom, downhill, cross-country, or for the ever increasingly popular snowboarding there is the K2 snowboard park prepared to the highest standards. In PARK SNOW Štrbské Pleso you can make use of ski and snowboard rentals, ski-service shops, as well as ski schools for beginners and there is even a ski school for kids who can also pop in to the Milka kids’ park. Choose from 18 km of regularly prepared ski trails, all the downhill runs with a total length of 7.36 km are serviced by snow cannons for their entire length. You won’t want to miss out on the excitement of evening skiing or a bird’s eye view of the snow covered mountains from a paraglider. If you love the adrenaline of snowboard, then you will love the ace terrain calling out for freeriding, jumping, complete with loads of rails and other obstacles. Lots of other attractions are lying in wait for you. For adrenaline freaks and lovers of fun there is our Fun park that offers snowtubing, snowrafting, snowshoes, ice bar, snowball fights...
